FRANK TAUBERT, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

In 2000, Frank Taubert pioneered and co-founded 24-7 Entertainment, Europe’s leading B2B technology provider specializing in online and mobile distribution of digital entertainment. Via its comprehensive system, the company has fulfilled hundreds of millions of commercial and promotional downloads for major retailers, telcos, software and hardware manufacturers, record labels and media companies worldwide.

Under his leadership, 24-7 now operates 37 music download stores in 15 countries including Saturn.de and Mediamarkt.de in Germany; Play.com in the UK, TDC PLAY in Denmark and Hutchison 3G in Austria, among others.

The company won an MEF (Mobile Entertainment Forum) Global Award in 2009 for the “Best Music Service” on behalf of TDC PLAY (Denmark).

Taubert has over 20 years of experience working in the music industry, both in the United States and Germany. Prior to launching 24-7 Entertainment, he oversaw product management for Magix Entertainment in Berlin and before that, worked for BMG Entertainment in marketing, sales and multimedia in both the Munich and New York offices.

Taubert holds a Master of Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilians-University in Munich where he studied Marketing and Information/Communication Technology.


Erik Dibbern

ERIK DIBBERN, Chief Technology Officer

In his role for 24-7 Entertainment, Dibbern heads up the technology and development team out of the Copenhagen office with additional team members in multiple locations across Europe. His main focus is on delivering the next generation of digital services to 24-7 Entertainment customers from its mirrored hosting facilities while maintaining the stable, quality service for which 24-7 is renowned.

Before joining 24-7, Erik held the position of Director of R&D for the Danish software company, ScanJour and prior to that, worked for Microsoft for seven years as both Development Manager and Architect designing mobile related IT systems, among others.


Dibbern, a 25-year veteran in IT and technology started his professional career in audio engineering and then migrated to software development.

 

CHRISTOPH OBERHAUS, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Prior to joining 24-7 Entertainment, Christoph held the position of Managing Director for WOM (World of Music) Media Network GmbH, one of Germany’s renowned music retailers. In this position he oversaw the e-commerce and publishing businesses among other things. Prior to that, he worked for Arcandor (formerly KarstadtQuelle group, WOM’s holding company) in various senior positions in new media and finance.

He also worked for many years for The Boston Consulting Group as Project Leader for the financial sector.

Christoph holds a Business Degree from Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany.




MORTEN DAHLGREN, VP Sales & Marketing, Nordic

Morten has more than 20 years experience in the music industry and has held various positions within sales and marketing management, mainly on the record company side but for some years also on the "electronic retail" side. In the 80's and early 90's he worked for Sony Music. In the mid & late 90's Morten created multi-platinum selling compilation albums & box sets for MTG-owned TV-Shop Europe.
In the late 90's he projected, designed and launched the Nordic online store CDON – today Scandinavia's biggest online music & film retailer.

Before teaming up with 24-7 Entertainment, Morten was heading Edel Records in the Scandinavian territories. Through the years he has developed an extensive network within the Scandinavian music & media industry.

Morten holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Management from Lund University in Sweden.

TOBIAS BRINKHORST, VP Marketing JUKE

Brinkhorst brings a wealth of experience from the telco, mobile and e-commerce sectors, having worked as a Consultant for Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Siemens Mobile, as well as Executive Director of Marketing for Jamba! (known as Jamster in English speaking territories) and Head of eCommerce for Groupon.

While at Deutsche Telekom, Brinkhorst managed Telekom’s key strategic mobile handset projects including Apple’s iPhone and iPad series as well as Google-featured Android-based handsets in up to 14 of their markets, serving as a liaison between the American IT companies and Telekom´s operating countries. Also of great relevance is Brinkhorst’s experience at Jamba!, the premium-rate monthly SMS mobile phone content provider where he worked for many years but most recently overseeing the marketing for Australia, UK, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland.

Brinkhorst is based in the Berlin office. He heads up the JUKE marketing team and will oversee the expansion of JUKE across international territories.

Brinkhorst holds a double degree B.A. (Honors) in International Management from the University of Applied Sciences at Muenster, Germany and the International School of Economics Rotterdam, Netherlands as part of a European Business Program.
