FRANK TAUBERT, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

With over 20 years of experience working in the music industry, both in the United States and Germany, Frank has a profound understanding of the intricate workings and needs of the labels and artists as reflected in the 24-7 Entertainment platform.

Prior to launching 24-7 Entertainment, Frank worked for Magix Entertainment Products in Berlin as International Product Manager and before that, he spent many years working for BMG Entertainment in marketing, sales and multimedia in both the Munich and New York offices.

Frank holds a Master of Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilians-University in Munich where he studied Marketing and Information/Communication Technology.

CARL HENRIK NIELSEN, Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

 

Carl has 30 years of experience working at the forefront of cutting-edge technology where he has honed his craft; his expertise is evident in the state-of-the-art shop system he created.

Before Co-Founding 24-7 Entertainment, he was the CTO and Co-Founder of ON Consult AG with clients including CD-World Geneva, Deutsche Telekom Kabel Service and ABB-Dacom. Prior to that, he worked for TPI-IT, a Danish consultancy company where he was a Senior Consultant with clients including Ikea.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Science and Computer Science from Roskilde University in Denmark.

CHRISTOPH OBERHAUS, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Prior to joining 24-7 Entertainment, Christoph held the position of Managing Director for WOM (World of Music) Media Network GmbH, one of Germany’s renowned music retailers. In this position he oversaw the e-commerce and publishing businesses among other things. Prior to that, he worked for Arcandor (formerly KarstadtQuelle group, WOM’s holding company) in various senior positions in new media and finance.

He also worked for many years for The Boston Consulting Group as Project Leader for the financial sector.

Christoph holds a Business Degree from Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany.




PHILIP D. SHEPHERD, SVP Global Sales

Philip has a strong background in online and mobile digital distribution. Prior to joining the 24-7 team, he worked as General Manager UK for Musicbrigade where he launched several ad- funded, video streaming services including Channel 4 in the UK and M6 in France.

Philip also worked for many years for Loudeye / OD2 as both Head of Strategic Partnerships – EMEA and before that, as Business Development Manager, Rest of World. In both roles, he worked closely with international mobile corporations including Nokia, Samsung as well as entertaiment hardware manufacturers such as Philips to expand the digital distribution business and increase revenue.

He holds a Master of Science in Music Information Technology from City University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from the University of Bradford.

JOERN GILLYS-NIEMEYER, SVP Business Operations

Joern brings with him a strong background in music, new media, business development and journalism. Most recently he worked for Universal Music Germany where he developed the concept for the first track-by-track-download system known as Popfile, which he went on to market and manage the content. While at Universal, he also worked on business development of pilot projects including O2 mobile download and stationary download kiosk systems.

Prior to that, he freelanced for Bertelsmann Content Network in Hamburg where he worked on marketing and new media concepts and before that as a Senior Editor for leading German Media companies (Gruner & Jahr, Bauer Verlag, RTL, Brainpool AG, Tomorrow Internet AG, Verlagsgruppe Milchstraße) where he developed TV, print and Internet magazines.

MORTEN DAHLGREN, VP Sales & Marketing, Nordic

Morten has more than 20 years experience in the music industry and has held various positions within sales and marketing management, mainly on the record company side but for some years also on the "electronic retail" side. In the 80's and early 90's he worked for Sony Music. In the mid & late 90's Morten created multi-platinum selling compilation albums & box sets for MTG-owned TV-Shop Europe.
In the late 90's he projected, designed and launched the Nordic online store CDON – today Scandinavia's biggest online music & film retailer.

Before teaming up with 24-7 Entertainment, Morten was heading Edel Records in the Scandinavian territories. Through the years he has developed an extensive network within the Scandinavian music & media industry.

Morten holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Management from Lund University in Sweden.

DANI MOLINA, VP Sales & Marketing Ibérica.

Dani has been cultivating his career in the music industry for almost 15 years. He began working with Max Music in Barcelona in 1995 and later moved to Vale Music, the leading Spanish indie. He remained with Vale for nine years working in various departments with roles that included Licensing Manager, International Exploitation Director and Digital Marketing Manager, Vale Music (division of Universal Music).

Seduced by the digital market, in 2007 Dani moved from the music industry to digital retail, joining Acquamedia Technologies (the main partner of Movistar Spain) as Director of Content & Acquisition Manager. In this position, Dani managed its mobile wap store "Emocion" and licensed mobile content (music, games and more) for Acquamedia’s worldwide wap stores.

In 2009, Dani joined the 24-7 team, heading the Spanish office as VP Sales & Marketing Ibérica.

CHARLES ROELS, Senior Director Mobile Services & Project Management

Charles joined 24-7 Entertainment from the mobile operator Hutchison 3G UK, where he was in charge of designing and launching the award-winning 3MusicStore.

Prior to that Charles pioneered mobile music downloads at Belgium's leading mobile operator Proximus (Belgacom Mobile). Needless to say,  Ringtones, Real Tones, Ringback Tones, Music Recognition Services, Full Track Audio and Video are nothing new to him.

Charles has a degree in Business and Economics and a postgraduate diploma Internet Software Engineer.

PATRICIA KOEGEL, Director Licensing

Patricia has extensive background in the music and entertainment industry. She began her career in 1995 when she wrote her Diploma Thesis for BMG Interactive entitled "Effects of New Technologies on the Value Chain of Music Industry Products".

Afterwards she worked for ProSieben (Germany's biggest TV company) in Strategic Program Management reporting to the board and then for Letsbuyit.com, as a European Category Leader. Additionally, she has freelanced for BMG's A&R and licensing departments; worked for artist management agencies and consulted for several music labels. Patricia began working for 24-7 Entertainment in 2001.

Patricia holds a Master of Business Administration in International Management and Controlling from the University of Hohenheim (Germany and Canada)
